Practical answers about preparation, location, posing, selection and delivery. Any details specific to your session are confirmed before booking.
What if I do not know how to pose?
You do not need modelling experience. I guide posture, hands, movement and expression throughout the session, adapting the direction to you rather than repeating a fixed set of poses.
What should I wear?
Before the session, you can send me photographs of possible outfits, and I will help choose clothing, colours and textures to suit the concept, location and purpose of the shoot. We can create strong images with simple wardrobe basics, or involve a professional stylist for more fashion-forward, trend-led editorial looks that reflect your personality and ideas.
Can you help me choose a location?
Yes. We choose between studio, Lisbon city and selected coastal or natural locations according to the atmosphere, styling, weather, access and purpose of the session. Studio hire is charged separately.
How many photographs will I receive?
You receive a curated gallery of successful photographs. Signature Portrait includes 10 selected images with detailed retouching, while Editorial Portrait Story includes 15. Additional retouched photographs can be purchased for €10 each.
What does detailed retouching include?
Detailed retouching may include refined colour and volume, skin texture, temporary blemishes, hair adjustments, background clean-up and small distractions in clothing. Figure correction is also available if requested. The desired degree of retouching is discussed before booking so the final result remains natural and recognisable.
Can my photographs remain private?
Yes. Photographs are not published without permission. The session can remain fully private, or you can approve only selected images for the website, portfolio or social media.
What happens if it rains?
For outdoor sessions, we monitor the forecast in advance. If the selected location is no longer suitable, we agree on an indoor alternative or reschedule according to the booking terms.
When will I receive the photographs?
Standard delivery is within 14 days after you select the photographs for detailed retouching. Express delivery is available for an additional €50, placing your session at the front of the editing queue. The exact timeline and selection process are confirmed before booking.
